bfr-id

Function

The bfr-id command configures a unique BFR-ID for an edge BIER device in a BIER sub-domain.

The undo bfr-id command restores the default configuration.

By default, no BFR-id is configured for an edge BIER device.

Format

bfr-id bfr-id-val

undo bfr-id [ bfr-id-val ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
bfr-id-val

Specifies a BFR-ID.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 65535.

Usage Scenario

To configure a unique BFR-ID for an edge BIER device in a BIER sub-domain, run the bfr-id command.

Prerequisites

A BIER sub-domain has been configured using the sub-domain command.
