Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

A dual-stack user remains online so long as the user has at least one available IP address. If you want a device to forcibly log out a dual-stack user when the user releases any IP address, run the any-address-release offline command.

NOTE:

This command applies to only PPPoX users.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

The ppp address-release separate and any-address-release offline commands are mutually exclusive.

This command is used to process DHCPv6 Release messages on clients. By default, DHCPv6 Release messages on clients are not processed.
