bas-interface-name

Function

The bas-interface-name command sets the name of the BAS interface.

The undo bas-interface-name command restores the default setting.

By default, the name of the BAS interface is null.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

bas-interface-name name

undo bas-interface-name

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
name

Specifies the name of the BAS interface.

The value is a string of 1 to 32 characters.

Usage Scenario

The bas-interface-name command is only used to set the BAS interface name and has no special function.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

# Set the name of the BAS interface GE0/1/9 to huawei.
