bgp-local-ifnet mtu

Function

The bgp-local-ifnet mtu command sets an MTU for BGP local IFNET tunnels.

The undo bgp-local-ifnet mtu command restores the default MTU of BGP local IFNET tunnels.

By default, the MTU of BGP local IFNET tunnels is 1500.

bgp-local-ifnet mtu lifnmtuVal

undo bgp-local-ifnet mtu

Parameters

Specifies an MTU for BGP local IFNET tunnels.

The value is an integer ranging from 46 to 65535.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If the MTU of LDP LSPs is different from that of BGP local IFNET tunnels, traffic may fail to be forwarded. To set an MTU for BGP local IFNET tunnels, run the bgp-local-ifnet mtu command.

# Set the MTU to 20000 for BGP local IFNET tunnels.
