Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

A BGP peer relationship-based virtual link is constructed across the Layer 3 network. That is, the local and remote IPv6 addresses of the link are the local and remote addresses of the BGP peer respectively. The device reports the topology information to the controller for path computation. The topology displayed on the controller does not contain any actual link, but only a reachable route, that is, a virtual link. The TE metric, affinity, and TWAMP delay detection based on the link can be configured. The local and remote addresses of the session must be the same as those of the BGP virtual link.

Prerequisites

BGP EPE SRv6 has been enabled using the peer egress-engineering srv6 command.

Example

# Enable the peer virtual link function.
