bind ssl-policy (ofa)

Function

The bind ssl-policy command binds a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) policy to a CUSP connection.

The undo bind ssl-policy command unbinds an SSL policy from a CUSP connection.

By default, no SSL policy is bound to a CUSP connection.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

bind ssl-policy ssl-policy-name

undo bind ssl-policy [ ssl-policy-name ]

Parameters

ssl-policy-name

Specifies the name of an SSL policy.

The value is a string of 1 to 23 case-insensitive characters, spaces not supported.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

CUSP connections are insecure. To establish a secure SSL connection between the forwarding and control planes, run the bind ssl-policy command to bind an SSL policy to a CUSP connection.

Prerequisites

The CUSP forwarder view has been displayed by running the cusp agent <agent-name> command.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
