Function

The certificate request entity command sets the entity name that the device uses when applying for a certificate.

The undo certificate request entity command deletes the specified entity name.

By default, the entity name is not set.

Format

certificate request entity entity-name

undo certificate request entity

Indicates the entity name that the device uses when applying for a certificate.

It is a string of 1 to 31 case insensitive characters.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To apply for a certificate, you must create a PKI domain and specify an entity name in the PKI domain. The specified entity name must already exist.

Example

# Set the entity name that the device uses when applying for a certificate to entity1.
