cfm trigger vlan mac-renew

Function

The cfm trigger vlan mac-renew command clears the MAC entries of a range of VLANs associated with Ethernet CFM if Ethernet CFM detects a fault.

The undo cfm trigger vlan mac-renew command cancels the clearance of the MAC entries of a range of VLANs associated with Ethernet CFM if Ethernet CFM detects a fault.

By default, the MAC entries is not cleared.

Format

cfm trigger vlan { vlanBng [ to vlanEnd ] } &<1-10> mac-renew

undo cfm trigger vlan { vlanBng [ to vlanEnd ] } &<1-10> mac-renew

Specifies the ID of a start VLAN.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 4094.

Specifies the ID of a end VLAN.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 4094.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

After the cfm trigger vlan mac-renew command is run, Ethernet CFM clears the MAC entries of a range of configured VLANs if Ethernet CFM detects a fault. This allows links to be switched.

Prerequisites

CFM has been globally enabled using the cfm enable command in the system view.

Configuration Impact

If the cfm trigger vlan mac-renew command is run more than once, all configurations take effect.

Precautions

A maximum of 10 VLAN ranges can be configured. The VLAN ranges cannot overlap or be crossed.

Example

# Clear the MAC entries of VLANs 100 to 200 if Ethernet CFM detects a fault.
