check version

Function

The check version command checks the versions of components in the current router.

Format

check version { filename | startup }

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
filename	Specifies the name of the system software stored in the CF card.	The value is a string of 4 to 127 characters, spaces not supported.
startup	Upgrades the Router to the current startup system software.	-

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The check version command checks the versions of components in the current router. If the State is a component of Incompatible, separate upgrading is needed.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

When an online user is performing upgrade or checking versions, other users cannot check versions.
