clock source internal clock-id

Function

The clock source internal clock-id command configures a clock ID for an internal clock source.

The undo clock source internal clock-id command restores the clock ID for an internal clock source.

The default clock ID of an internal clock source is 0. If you have enabled the extended SSM function for an internal clock source, this internal clock source cannot participate in clock source selection.

clock source internal clock-id clockid-value

undo clock source internal clock-id

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 15.

Usage Scenario

When the extended SSM function is enabled, configure a clock ID for an internal clock source on all devices that reside in both chain and ring networks or two ring networks to prevent clock loops.
