loop-detect traffic-suppression threshold

Function

The loop-detect traffic-suppression threshold command sets a threshold for traffic suppression of MAC flapping-based loop detection.

The undo loop-detect traffic-suppression threshold command restores the default threshold for traffic suppression of MAC flapping-based loop detection.

By default, the threshold is set to 10 for traffic suppression of MAC flapping-based loop detection.

Format

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If a loop occurs on a network, the broadcast domain encounters broadcast storms. To prevent other broadcast domains from being affected, traffic suppression of MAC flapping-based loop detection must be enabled. When traffic suppression of MAC flapping-based loop detection is enabled, run the loop-detect traffic-suppression threshold suppression-threshold to set a threshold. The system implements traffic suppression based on the threshold.

Example

# Set the threshold to 20 for traffic suppression of MAC flapping-based loop detection.
