Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To set an encapsulation type, BSL, and maximum SI for BIERv6 packets, run the encapsulation-type command. Multiple devices in a sub-domain must have the same BSL.

Prerequisites

A BIERv6 sub-domain has been configured using the sub-domain command.

Example

# Set an encapsulation type, BSL, and maximum SI to IPv6, 256, and 1 for BIERv6 packets, respectively.
