root-ip (MLDP P2MP tunnel view)

Function

The root-ip command binds a P2MP LSP to an mLDP P2MP tunnel interface.

The undo root-ip command removes the binding between a P2MP LSP and an mLDP P2MP tunnel interface.

No P2MP LSP is bound to an mLDP P2MP tunnel interface by default.

Format

root-ip root-ip-address lsp-id lsp-id

undo root-ip

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
root-ip-address

Specifies the IP address of the ingress of an mLDP P2MP LSP.

The value is in dotted decimal notation.

lsp-id lsp-id

Specifies the ID of an mLDP P2MP LSP.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 8192.

Usage Scenario

To bind a P2MP LSP to an existing mLDP P2MP tunnel interface, run the root-ip command on the ingress.

Prerequisites

An mLDP P2MP tunnel interface has been created and its view has been displayed using the mldp-p2mp-tunnel command.
