The e-trunk command creates an E-Trunk or directly enters the E-Trunk view if an E-Trunk exists.
The undo e-trunk command deletes an E-Trunk. When an E-Trunk is deleted, the member interfaces of the E-Trunk are deleted.
By default, no E-Trunk is created.
Usage Scenario
An Eth-Trunk implements board-level reliability, whereas an E-Trunk implements device-level reliability.
An E-Trunk must be created in the system view using the e-trunk command before you configure its attributes. The attributes include E-Trunk parameters (E-Trunk priority, E-Trunk authentication and encryption mode, password, interval at which Hello packets are sent, time multiplier for detecting Hello packets, and E-Trunk description), and association between the E-Trunk and BFD.Follow-up Procedure
Run the e-trunk command in the Eth-Trunk interface view to add an Eth-Trunk interface to the E-Trunk so that the E-Trunk takes effect.
Precautions
After E-Trunks are created, you need to manually configure encryption keys. The encryption keys configured on the two devices where the E-Trunks are created must be the same. Otherwise, E-Trunk negotiation fails.
