damp-interface ignore-global

Function

The damp-interface ignore-global command enables an interface to ignore the global damp-interface function.

The undo damp-interface ignore-global command disables an interface from ignoring the global damp-interface function.

By default, the damp-interface function on an interface is the same as the global configuration.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If the damp-interface function is enabled globally using the damp-interface enable command run in the system view but you want to disable this function on some interfaces, run the damp-interface ignore-global command on these interfaces to enable them to ignore the global damp-interface function.

Configuration Impact

After the damp-interface ignore-global command is run on an interface, the global damp-interface function stops taking effect on the interface.
