dci local-route advertise-to-mpls(Global EVPN configuration view)

Function

The dci local-route advertise-to-mpls command enables a device to send local routes that carry the VXLAN attribute based on the peer encapsulation type in DCI scenarios.

The undo dci local-route advertise-to-mpls command restores the default configuration.

By default, local EVPN routes carrying VXLAN attributes are advertised only to peers with VXLAN encapsulation configured.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

In a DCI scenario, by default, a device advertises locally generated EVPN routes that carry VXLAN encapsulation attributes only to the peers that are configured to advertise VXLAN encapsulation attributes.

During the command configuration, the locally generated EVPN route carrying the VXLAN encapsulation attribute is advertised to the peer configured with the VXLAN and MPLS encapsulation attributes. When a local VXLAN route is advertised to an MPLS EVPN peer, the VXLAN-encapsulated extended community attribute is deleted, and the VNI is changed to an MPLS label.

Precautions

This command controls only locally generated MAC, MAC-IP, MAC-IPV6, EVI-AD and IP-PREFIX routes. The advertise vxlan-tunnel mac command must be run to enable the device to advertise MAC routes learned from static VXLAN tunnels to MPLS EVPN peers.

Example

# Enable a device to advertise local EVPN routes with different attributes based on the peer's encapsulation type in a DCI scenario where VXLAN and MPLS iteration are both configured.
