Parameters

process-id	Specifies the ID of an OSPF process.	The?value?is?an?integer?ranging?from?1?to?4294967295.?The?default?value?is?1.
area area-id	Specifies the ID of an OSPF area.	The value can be an integer or in the format of an IP address. The value ranges from 0 to 4294967295 when it is an integer. The value is in dotted decimal notation when it is in the format of an IP address.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To enable OSPF on DCN serial interfaces or sub-interfaces 4094 in a specified process and area, run the dcn ospf enable command.

Prerequisites

DCN has been enabled using the dcn command in the interface view, or DCN communication through sub-interfaces 4094 has been enabled using the dcn mode vlan command in the GE interface view.

Precautions

If multiple DCN interfaces of an interface share one IP address, do not use the network command to enable the OSPF function on the DCN interfaces.

The dcn ospf enable command cannot work with the network command. If both of the commands are run on an interface, the interface status may become unstable.

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
