description (VLAN-group view)

Function

The description command configures a description for a VLAN group.

The undo description command deletes the description of a VLAN group.

By default, no description is configured for a VLAN group.

Usage Scenario

After you run the vlan-group command several times to configure multiple VLAN groups to deploy QoS policies for services or users or view QinQ packet statistics, run the description command to configure a description for each VLAN group. The description helps you learn about the functions of each VLAN group quickly, facilitating service management.
