dhcp-server giaddr

Function

The dhcp-server giaddr command configures the GiAddr address of packets sent by a DHCPv4 server group.

The undo dhcp-server giaddr command restores the default setting.

By default, the GiAddr address of packets sent by a DHCPv4 server group is a gateway address.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

dhcp-server giaddr interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-number } [ forward-rui-slave ]

Usage Scenario

Through the dhcp-server giaddr command changes the GiAddr address of packets sent by a DHCPv4 server group.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

Ensure that the configured GiAddr address does not conflict with the user IP address, the IP address requested by the dynamic address pool, or the IP address configured in another address pool.

Example

# Set the IP address of GE 0/1/1 as the GiAddr address of the packet sent from the DHCPv4 server group named huawei in the DHCPv4 server group view.
