dhcp-server group(IP address pool view)

Function

The dhcp-server group command associates the address pool with the DHCPv4 server group.

The undo dhcp-server group command removes the association between the address pool and the DHCPv4 server group.

By default, the address pool with the DHCPv4 server group is not associated.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

dhcp-server group group-name

undo dhcp-server group

Parameters

Specifies the name of the DHCPv4 server group.

The value is a string of 1-32 case-insensitive characters.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

This command is applicable to only the remote address pool.

To associate a DHCPv4 server with an address pool, you must create the DHCPv4 server group by using the dhcp-server group command in the system view.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

Example

# Associate the remote address pool rpool with the DHCPv4 server group huawei.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] dhcp-server group huawei
[*HUAWEI-dhcp-server group huawei] quit
[*HUAWEI] commit
[~HUAWEI] ip pool rpool bas remote
Info: It's successful to create an IP address pool
[*HUAWEI-ip-pool-rpool] commit
[~HUAWEI-ip-pool-rpool] gateway 10.10.110.1 255.255.255.0
