dhcp option-61 pppoe-remote-pool

Function

The dhcp option-61 pppoe-remote-pool command is used to configure the option61 encapsulation function in the packets sent to the DHCP server.

The undo dhcp option-61 pppoe-remote-pool command is used to configure the option61 unencapsulation function in the packets sent to the DHCP server.

By default, the device is disabled from encapsulating the Option 61 attribute into a message to be sent to the DHCP server.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

In the remote address pool scenario of PPPoE users, PPPoE users fail to go offline because the Option61 is not carried in the online process. The release packets sent by the device to the DHCP server carry the Option61. As a result, the PPPoE users fail to go offline.

Run the dhcp option-61 pppoe-remote-pool command, the Option61 in the packets sent to the DHCP server is encapsulated in format.
