The dhcpv6 lease-proxy rate-limit command configures the CAR Bandwidth for Lease Proxy Rate Limiting.
The undo dhcpv6 lease-proxy rate-limit command restores the default bandwidth of the lease proxy CAR.
By default, the lease proxy rate limit is 256.
This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.
Usage Scenario
After DHCPv6 lease proxy is enabled, due to the increase in the number of DHCPv6 renew packets, CP-CAR rate limiting on the number of host packets to be sent to the CPU by a DHCPv6 user is loosened, increasing the risks on device stability caused by extremely high traffic volume of host packets. You can run the dhcpv6 lease-proxy rate-limit command to configure the rate at which non-renew packets are sent to the main control board in a DHCPv6 scenario in order to prevent extremely high traffic volume of host packets and ensure stable system running.
