dhcpv6 solicit-speed-threshold

Function

The dhcpv6 solicit-speed-threshold command configures the speed threshold at which solicit packets are received.

The undo dhcpv6 solicit-speed-threshold command deletes the speed threshold at which solicit packets are received.

By default, the speed at which solicit packets are received is not specified.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

dhcpv6 solicit-speed-threshold threshold-value value

undo dhcpv6 solicit-speed-threshold

Parameters

Specifies the maximum number of solicit packets that are received within a specified time period.

The value of is an integer ranging from 1 to 3000.

Specifies the time period.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 10.

Usage Scenario

The dhcpv6 solicit-speed-threshold command is used when the speed at which users go online needs to be limited.

Configuration Impact

The more solicit packets are received within a specified time period, the faster users go online.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
