display sub-vlan

Function

The display sub-vlan command displays information about sub-VLAN entries.

Format

display sub-vlan [ vlan-id ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
vlan-id

Specifies the VLAN ID of a sub-VLAN.

When multiple VLANs are configured on a device, you are advised to specify a VLAN ID so that you can view information about a specific sub-VLAN.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 4094.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

After VLAN aggregation is configured on a device, you can determine whether VLAN aggregation has been correctly configured by running the display sub-vlan command to check information about sub-VLANs. When using the display sub-vlan command, note the following points:

  • If is not specified, information about all sub-VLANs on the device is displayed.
  • If is specified, information about a specific sub-VLAN is displayed. Before running the display sub-vlan command, ensure that the device has sub-VLANs configured. Otherwise, no command output is displayed.

Example

The actual command output varies according to the device. The command output here is only an example.

# Display information about the sub-VLAN with VLAN ID 10.
<HUAWEI> display sub-vlan 10
