Usage Scenario

If a DHCP client cannot obtain an IP address properly, run the dhcp relay client-info command on the DHCP relay agent so that the DHCP relay agent records the information exchanged between the DHCP client and server based on the specified option code and sub-option code in DHCP packets.

To view the option code or sub-option code based on which a DHCP relay agent records DHCP packets, run the display dhcp relay client-info option configuration command.

Option	Option code of a DHCP packet. This field is null if the dhcp relay client-info command has not been run.
Sub-option	Sub-option code of a DHCP packet. This field is null if the dhcp relay client-info command has not been run. If the sub-option sub-option-code parameter has not been specified in the dhcp relay client-info command, this field is displayed as "-".
