Function

The display igmp dns-ssm-mapping command displays DNS-based SSM mapping information.

Format

display igmp dns-ssm-mapping [ group group-address ]

display igmp { vpn-instance vpn-instance-name | all-instance } dns-ssm-mapping [ group group-address ]

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
group group-address	Specifies the multicast group for which DNS-based SSM mapping information is displayed.	The value ranges from 224.0.1.0 to 239.255.255.255, in dotted decimal notation.
vpn-instance vpn-instance-name	Specifies the name of a VPN instance.	The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported. In addition, the VPN instance name must not be _public_. When double quotation marks are used around the string, spaces are allowed in the string.
all-instance	Indicates all instances.	-

Usage Scenario

After DNS-based SSM mapping is configured on a multicast device, you can run this command to view related information.

When using the display igmp dns-ssm-mapping command, note the following:

If neither vpn-instance nor all-instance is specified, only information about multicast groups in the public network instance is displayed.
If group-address is specified, only the information related to this multicast group is displayed.
