Function

The display mld-snooping querier command displays querier configurations.

Format

display mld-snooping querier vlan [ vlan-id ]

display mld-snooping querier vsi [ vsi-name ]

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
vsi vsi-name	Displays querier configurations in a specified VSI. If vsi-name is not specified, MLD querier configurations in all VSIs are displayed.	The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported. When double quotation marks are used around the string, spaces are allowed in the string.
vlan vlan-id	Displays querier configurations in a specified VLAN. If vlan-id is not specified, MLD querier configurations in all VLANs are displayed.	The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 4094.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If MLD messages sent from an upstream Layer 3 device fail to reach a downstream Layer 2 device or the upstream device is not configured to learn multicast forwarding entries dynamically, queriers can be configured on the Layer 2 device to send MLD Query messages on behalf of the Layer 3 device. This reduces the burden of the upstream device. To check querier configurations, run the display mld-snooping querier command.
