display mvpn spmsi

Function

The display mvpn spmsi command displays selective-provider multicast service interface (S-PMSI) tunnel configurations of VPN instances.

Format

display mvpn { all-instance | vpn-instance vpn-instance-name } spmsi [ verbose [ grpAddr | srcAddr ] * ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
all-instance

Displays S-PMSI tunnel configurations of all VPN instances.

vpn-instance vpn-instance-name

Displays S-PMSI tunnel configurations of a specified a VPN instance.

The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported. In addition, the VPN instance name must not be _public_. When double quotation marks are used around the string, spaces are allowed in the string.

verbose

Displays the detailed S-PMSI tunnel configurations of VPN instances.

grpAddr

Specifies a multicast group.

The value ranges from 224.0.1.0 to 239.255.255.255, in dotted decimal notation.

srcAddr

Specifies a multicast source.

The value is in dotted decimal notation.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To determine whether the S-PMSI tunnels of a VPN instance are working properly, run the display mvpn spmsi command to check S-PMSI tunnel configurations.

Precautions

If no S-PMSI tunnels are established, no output is displayed for the display mvpn spmsi command.

VPN instance to which S-PMSI tunnel information belongs.

S-PMSI A-D Route Type

Type of S-PMSI AD route.

  • (S,G): Route from a specified multicast source to a specified multicast group.
  • (*,G): Route from any multicast sources to a specified multicast group.
  • (*,*): Route from any multicast sources to any multicast group.
Total number of tunnel

Number of tunnels.

Leaf nodes cannot identify S-PSMI tunnel types.

Total number of (S, G)

Total number of (S, G) entries that use an S-PMSI tunnel to forward multicast data.

Tunnel type

P2MP tunnel type:

  • mLDP P2MP LSP.
  • RSVP-TE P2MP LSP.

BIER tunnel type:

  • BIER.
  • BIER IPv6: BIERv6.
Tunnel state

Tunnel state:

  • Up: The tunnel operates normally.
  • Down: The tunnel is down.

    This parameter is displayed as.

  • - only if the root node's state of a tunnel is displayed as Up or Down and the leaf node is unaware of the tunnel state.
Tunnel ID

ID of a P2MP tunnel.

Src-dt4 SID

Source address of BIERv6 packets, which is used to differentiate MVPN instances.

Prefix Len

Length of prefix.

MSID Len

Length of MSID.

Sub-domain ID

BIER sub-domain ID.

BFR prefix

BIER BFR prefix address.

Bit string ID

BIER tunnel ID.

P2MP ID

P2MP ID of a P2MP tunnel.

Opaque value

Opaque value.

MPLS label

BIER MPLS label.

IP address of source and group on the tunnel.

Extended tunnel ID

Extended ID of a P2MP tunnel.

Root-ip

IP address of an mLDP P2MP LSP's root node.

BFR-ID

BIER BFIR ID.

Root

IP address of a root node. If this command is run on the root node, the root node IP address and local are displayed.

Leaf

IP address of a leaf node. If this command is run on a leaf node, the leaf node IP address and local are displayed.
