Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The interface enabled with PIM is called a PIM interface. The display pim ipv6 interface command is used to display information about an IPv6 PIM interface, including the PIM status, number of PIM neighbors, interval for sending Hello messages, Designated router (DR) priority, and DR address.

Precautions

If ifType and ifNum parameters are specified but the pim ipv6 sm command is not enabled on this interface, an error is prompted.

Example

The actual command output varies according to the device. The command output here is only an example.
