Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

An interface can set up a PIM neighbor relationship with other Routers after being enabled with PIM-SM. The display pim neighbor command is used to view PIM neighbor information, including the IP address of a PIM neighbor, existing period of a neighbor, and Designated router (DR) priority.

Example

The actual command output varies according to the device. The command output here is only an example.

# Display detailed information about the IPv6 PIM neighbors of GE 0/1/0.
<HUAWEI> display pim ipv6 neighbor interface gigabitethernet 0/1/0 verbose
