display srv6-te policy status

Function

The display srv6-te policy status command displays the reason why the SRv6 TE policy cannot be Up.

Format

display srv6-te policy status { endpoint endpoint-ip color color-value | policy-name name-value | binding-sid binding-sid }

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
endpoint endpoint-ip

Specifies the endpoint of an SRv6 TE Policy.

The value is a 32-digit hexadecimal number, in the format of X:X:X:X:X:X:X:X.

color color-value

Specifies the color value of an SRv6 TE Policy.

The value is an integer that ranges from 0 to 4294967295.

policy-name name-value

Specifies the name of an SRv6 TE Policy.

The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters. When double quotation marks are used around the string, spaces are allowed in the string.

binding-sid binding-sid

Specifies a binding SID.

The value is a 32-digit hexadecimal number, in the format of X:X:X:X:X:X:X:X.

Usage Scenario

To check SRv6 TE Policy status for determining the reason why an SRv6 TE Policy cannot go up, run the display srv6-te policy status command. The command output facilitates troubleshooting.

The actual command output varies according to the device. The command output here is only an example.

# According to the policy name, check whether the SRv6 TE policy is up and why the SRv6 TE policy cannot be up.

Policy State

SRv6 TE Policy status:

  • Up.
  • Down (Init).
  • Down (Overrun).
  • Down (BFD down).
  • Down (Shutdown).
  • Down (Delay Delete).
Check Admin Status

Whether the shutdown command is run for an SRv6 TE Policy:

  • Fail: The shutdown command is run.
  • Pass: The shutdown command is not run.
Check Endpoint & Color

Whether endpoint and color attributes are configured for an SRv6 TE Policy:

  • Fail: The endpoint and color attributes are not configured.
  • Pass: The endpoint and color attributes are configured.

If the result of the previous check item is Fail, one hyphen (-) is displayed.

Check Policy Not Reach Limit

Whether the failure for an SRv6 TE Policy to go up occurs because the number of existing SRv6 TE Policies exceeds the upper threshold:

  • Fail: The failure is caused by threshold-crossing.
  • Pass: The failure is not caused by threshold-crossing.

If the result of any previous check item is Fail, one hyphen (-) is displayed.

Check Segment List Exist

Whether the candidate path of an SRv6 TE Policy has a valid segment list:

  • Fail: No valid segment list exists.
  • Pass: A valid segment list exists.

If the result of any previous check item is Fail, one hyphen (-) is displayed.

Check Segment List Valid

Whether up segment lists exist in an SRv6 TE Policy:

  • Fail: No up segment list exists.
  • Pass: Up segment lists exist.

If the result of the previous check item is Fail, one hyphen (-) is displayed.

Check Segment List Not Reach Limit

Whether the failure for an SRv6 TE Policy to go Active occurs because the number of existing segment lists exceeds the upper threshold:

  • Fail: The failure is caused by threshold-crossing.
  • Pass: The failure is not caused by threshold-crossing.

If the result of the previous check item is Fail, one hyphen (-) is displayed.

Check Candidate Path Valid

Whether up candidate paths exist in an SRv6 TE Policy:

  • Fail: No up candidate path exists.
  • Pass: Up candidate paths exist.

If the result of the previous check item is Fail, one hyphen (-) is displayed.
