Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

When license-controlled function items are required, apply for a license file.

To apply for a license file, run the display license esn command to view the ESN of the current device.

The ESN of the device must be the same as the value of the ESN field in the license file. Otherwise, the new license file cannot be activated.

Prerequisites

The ESN, which is the unique identifier of a device component (for example, a IPU), must be obtained and specified before you apply for a license file.
