Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To view the status of a running license file in the current system, run the display license state command. The command output includes the current status of the license file and the remaining days for the license file before expiration.

A license file can be in any of the following states:

Demo: The license file is in the demo state.
Normal: The license file is in the normal state.
Default: The license file is in the default state. In this case, the license becomes invalid. The possible causes are as follows: The license has expired naturally. 60 days after the license revoke command is executed. 60 days after the ESN does not match during license activation.
Trial: The license file is in the trial state.
Emergency: The license file is in the emergency state.

If a license file has been activated and in the keepalive period, the display license state command can be run to display the remaining valid keepalive period of the license file.

Prerequisites

An active license file exists on the device.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
