Function

The display vrrp state-change interface vrid command enables the system to trace changes in the status of a specified VRRP group.

Format

display vrrp state-change interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-number } vrid virtual-router-id

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
interface-type

Displays changes in the status of a VRRP group on a specified interface.

interface-number

Displays changes in the status of a VRRP group on a specified interface.

virtual-router-id

Displays changes in the status of a VRRP group with a specified VRID.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 255.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If a VRRP group does not work properly, the display vrrp state-change interface vrid command can be used to trace changes in the VRRP status. Information about the last 10 changes in the VRRP status can be displayed. The command output includes the time when the status changed, the statuses before and after the change, and change reasons.

Example

The actual command output varies according to the device. The command output here is only an example.
