Function

The display arp rate-limit interface command displays the ARP packet rate limit of an interface.

Format

display arp rate-limit interface { interface-type interface-num | interface-name }

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

This command displays the ARP packet rate limit of an interface configured by running the arp rate-limit command.

This command is not applicable to Layer 2 Ethernet interfaces, flexible access interfaces, QinQ stacking interfaces, or QinQ mapping interfaces, or EVC sub-interfaces.

Example

The actual command output varies according to the device. The command output here is only an example.

# Display the ARP packet rate limit of GE 0/1/0.
<HUAWEI> display arp rate-limit interface GigabitEthernet 0/1/0

arp rate-limit: 20(default-value)

Item Description
arp rate-limit

Specifies the ARP packet rate limit of an interface. When the threshold is reached, perform the CAR operation for the packets.

The value is an integer, in pps.

The value is 0 or ranges 21 to 1024. If the value is 0, no CAR operation is performed for ARP packets.

Specifies the type and number of the interface.
