Function

The display dot1x supplicant template command displays parameters for 802.1X authentication negotiation defined in a specified 802.1X supplicant template.

Format

display dot1x supplicant template dot1x-supplicant-template-number

Specifies the number of an 802.1x supplicant template.

The value is an integer. The device supports one 802.1X supplicant template, so the value is 1.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

After an 802.1X supplicant template is configured on a device, you can run the display dot1x supplicant template command to check parameters for 802.1X authentication negotiation defined in the 802.1X supplicant template.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

Number of the 802.1X supplicant template.

Eap authentication type

EAP authentication. The value can be:

  • PAP: Passwords in plain text are used, providing low security.
  • CHAP: Passwords in cipher text are used, providing higher security than PAP.
Start packet interval

Interval at which EAP-Start packets are sent, in seconds.

Authentication interval

Authentication interval, in seconds.

Held interval

Interval at which negotiation is suspended after an authentication failure, in seconds.

Portocol version type

Version of the 802.1x protocol.

Username

User name.
