display ipv6 fib slot

Function

The display ipv6 fib slot command displays IPv6 FIB information on a specified interface board.

Format

display ipv6 fib slot slotid [ vpn-instance vpnname ] [ verbose ]

display ipv6 fib slot slotid [ vpn-instance vpnname ] dstip6 [ masklen ] [ verbose ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
slotid

Specifies a slot ID.

The maximum number of IPv6 FIB entries that can be displayed using this command depends on board specifications. Given that the maximum number of IPv6 FIB entries displayed is within board specifications, the number of IPv6 FIB entries displayed on the interface board on each slot is the same.

vpn-instance vpnname

Displays private IPv6 FIB statistics based on the VPN.

If vpn-instance vpn-name is not set, public IPv6 FIB entries are displayed.

The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters.

verbose

Displays detailed information about FIB entries.

If verbose is not set, brief information about IPv6 FIB entries is displayed.

dstip6

Displays IPv6 FIB entries based on the destination IP address.

If no destination IP address is configured, IPv6 FIB entries of all destination IP addresses are displayed.

The value is an IPv6 address.

masklen

Specifies the subnet mask length of the destination IP address.

If masklen is not set, the IPv6 FIB entries of all subnet masks are displayed.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 128..

Usage Scenario

The display ipv6 fib slot command can be used to troubleshoot a routing module.It output lists FIB entries line by line. Each line represents a route.

Running the display ipv6 fib slot verbose command displays detailed information about FIB entries.

Example

The actual command output varies according to the device. The command output here is only an example.

Item Description
slot

slot number of the interface board where the outbound resides.

Route Flags

Current flag, a combination of G, H, U, S, D, and B.

  • G: indicates that the next hop is a gateway.
  • H: indicates that the next hop is a host.
  • U: indicates that the route status is Up.
  • S: indicates a static route.
  • D: indicates a dynamic route.
  • B: indicates the black hole routes. That is, the next hop is a null interface.
  • 0: indicates other routes.
IPv6 FIB Table

Information about IPv6 FIB entries.

Total number of Routes

Total number of FIB entries.

Total number of Other Routes

Display the total number of other routes.

PrefixLength

Prefix length.

Nexthop

Next hop that forwards packets to the destination address.

Flag

Route flag.

Interface

Outbound interface.

Tunnel ID

Tunnel ID (It is not 0 if packets need to be forwarded through an MPLS network to the next hop. It is 0 if packets are forwarded using IP.).

Tunnel ID Bak

Backup tunnel ID.

TimeStamp

Timestamp.

Destination

Destination IPv6 address.

ATIndex

Index of the virtual connection between the local device and the gateway.

InLabel

Private network label.

IP6Token

ND entry index allocated to the adaptation module if the next hop of the route is a gateway device (the value of this field is 0 if the next hop of the route is not a gateway device).

VlanId

VLAN ID.

IndirectID

Keyword of the indirect next hop, which is generated by the system. If route recursion is not performed, the value is 0x0.

NexthopBak

Backup next hop.

IP6TokenBak

Backup ND token.

IfIndexBak

Backup outbound interface.

IndirectIDBak

Keyword of the backup indirect next hop, which is generated by the system. If route recursion is not performed, the value is 0x0.

InLabelBak

Backup inner private network label.

UnType

Route of the UNR type.

VPNFRR_OutIfBak

Backup outbound interface for VPN FRR.

OriginAs

Originating AS number.

BgpNexthop

BGP next hop.

PeerAs

Peer AS number (unavailable in the current version).

ProcTime

Route update time taken during normal service delivery.

SmoothTime

Route update time taken during FIB data smoothing.

VNI

VXLAN network identifier.

IndirectIDNum

The number of indirect next hop.

IndirectIDBakNum

The number of backup indirect next hop.

VPNFRR_LspTokenBak

Backup LSP ID for VPN FRR.

VPNFRR_NexthopBak

Backup next hop for VPN FRR.
