Function

The display local-user command displays the attributes of local users.

Format

For NetEngine 8000 F1A:

display local-user [ username user-name | domain domain-name | service-type { ftp | ppp | ssh | telnet | terminal | mml | qx | snmp | vlan-binding | vlan-web | 802.1x | x25-pad | tunnel | http } | user-group user-groupname | state { active | block } | locked ]

For NetEngine 8000 F2A:

display local-user [ username user-name | domain domain-name | service-type { ftp | ppp | ssh | telnet | terminal | mml | qx | snmp | http } | user-group user-groupname | state { active | block } | locked ]

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
username user-name	Specifies the user name.	The value is a string of 1 to 253 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported.
domain domain-name	Specifies the domain name for the local user.	The value is a string of 1 to 64 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported.
service-type	Displays user information of a specified service type.	-
ppp	Indicates PPP users.	-
ssh	Indicates SSH users.	-
telnet	Indicates Telnet users.	-
http	Displays information about HTTP users.	-
user-group user-groupname	Displays user information of a specified user group. To configure a user group, run the user-group command. By default, four user groups (manage-ug, system-ug, monitor-ug, and visit-ug) are available.	The value is a string of 1 to 32 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported.
state	Displays information about users in a specified state.	-
active	Displays information about users in the Active state.	-
block	Displays information about users in the Blocked state.	-
locked	Displays information about users in the Locked state. A locked user is still in the Active state and can successfully log in after the locking period expires, while a blocked user cannot log in permanently.	-
ftp	Indicates FTP users.	-
terminal	Indicates Terminal users.	-
mml	Indicates MML users.	-
qx	Indicates QX users.	-
snmp	Indicates SNMP users.	-
vlan-binding	Displays information about VLAN users. NOTE: This parameter is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.	-
vlan-web	Displays information about web users of a VLAN. NOTE: This parameter is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.	-
802.1x	Displays information about 802.1X users. NOTE: This parameter is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.	-
x25-pad	Displays information about x25-pad users. NOTE: This parameter is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.	-
tunnel	Displays information about tunnel users. NOTE: This parameter is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.	-

Usage Scenario

To check the attributes of local users, such as the user name, password, access type, user group to which the local user belongs, and maximum user-access number, run the display local-user command.

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

Username	Name of a local user.
Password	Password of the local user.
Password set time	Setting time of the password.
Password expired	Expire time of the password.
Original password	Whether the password is the original password.
User group name	Name of a user group name to which the local user belongs.
User aged	Whether the local user ages out.
User expired	Whether the configuration of the local user is expired.
User locked	Whether the local user is locked.
Aging start time	Time when the local user starts aging out.
Continue failed	Continuous failed times of the user name.
