Function

The display port-queue statistics command displays statistics about port queues on an interface.

Format

display port-queue statistics [ slot slot-id | interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-number } ] [ cos-value ] outbound

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
slot slot-id	Specify slot number.	The value is a string of 1 to 32 characters.
interface interface-name	Specifies the name of an interface.	-
interface interface-type	Specifies the interface type.	-
interface interface-number	Specifies the interface number.	-
cos-value	Specifies the CoS of the port queue.	The value is an enumerated type and can be cs7, cs6, ef, af4, af3, af2, af1, or be.
outbound	Displays statistics about port queues in the outbound direction of a specific interface.	-

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

After you deploy port queues, you can use the display port-queue statistics command to view statistics about the port queues which record the statistics from the time when data is generated for the first time to the time when the command is executed. The statistics indicate whether the port queues take effect and whether the bandwidth limits of the port queues are correct.

Prerequisites

The port-queue function has been deployed on the interface.

Precautions

In multi-VS scenarios, after this command is configured on a trunk main interface, the command configuration is also effective for the trunk sub-interfaces that reside in other VSs.

By default, the port queue statistics contain the IFG and preamble.

Example

The actual command output varies according to the device. The command output here is only an example.

Total discard	Number of dropped bytes and packets.
Drop tail discard	Number of bytes and packets dropped based on the tail drop mechanism.
Drop tail discard rate	Rate of packets dropped based on the tail drop mechanism, in pps or bps.
Wred discard	Number of bytes and packets dropped by WRED.
Wred discard rate	Rate of packets dropped by WRED, in pps or bps.
Last 30 seconds pass rate	Rate of packets allowed to pass through in the last 30 seconds, in pps or bps.
Last 30 seconds discard rate	Rate of dropped packets in the last 30 seconds, in pps or bps.

Traffic towards this port	Rate of traffic passing the interface, including the traffic that is forwarded and discarded.
