Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

During routine maintenance, you can run the display temperature command to check whether the temperature of a device is within a normal range and locate the fault.

Precautions

If the output of the display temperature command indicates that the Status of the device is not NORMAL, adjust the working temperature to ensure proper operation of the device.

The normal working temperature of a device ranges from 0°C to 45°C. If the output of the display temperature ipu command indicates that the working temperature is out of range, adjust the working temperature to ensure proper operation of the device.

The normal working temperature of a device ranges from 0°C to 45°C. If the output of the display temperature slot verbose command indicates that the working temperature is out of range, adjust the working temperature to ensure proper operation of the device.

Example

The actual command output varies according to the device. The command output here is only an example.

position.

PCB

Type of the board.

I2C

ID of the temperature sensor.

Addr

Address of the temperature sensor.

Chl

Channel of the temperature sensor.

Status

Status of the temperature sensor.

FanTMin

Fans will speed up if the temperature reaches this value.

FanTMax

Fans will rotate at full speed if the temperature reaches this value.

Temp(C)

Current temperature.

Minor

Minor alarm threshold.

The alarm levels are minor, major, and fatal. You can run the display temperature command to view the temperature alarm thresholds on each board. When the board temperature is higher than a specified threshold, an alarm of the corresponding level is generated. When the temperature is 2°C below the alarm threshold, the alarm is cleared.

Major

Threshold of a major alarm.

Fatal

Fatal alarm threshold. If the temperature reaches or exceeds the fatal alarm threshold, the device may work abnormally or be damaged.
