Usage Guidelines

After running the value-added-service update-online-edsg rate-limit service-policy command to update the rate limit of online EDSG services, you can run the display value-added-service update-online-edsg process-information command to view online EDSG service update information.

Item Description
Last receive update message time

Time when the update message was last received, which is displayed in the format of YYYY?MM?DD hh:mm:ss. If the main control board does not perform update operations, "-" is displayed.

Last service-policy type

Type of the service policy template for which the update operation was last performed:

  • cache: The cached service policy template is used.
  • configuration: The locally configured service policy template is used.
  • all: No service policy template type is specified.
Last service-policy name

Name of the service policy template for which the update operation was last performed. If no service policy template name is specified, "-" is displayed.

Current update process

Update progress, which is displayed in percentage during the update. For example, 67% indicates that the update has completed 67%. After the update is complete, "100%" is displayed. "-" is displayed if no update is performed.

Send update request

Number of users for who the service board is requested to perform the update operation.

  • If the update operation is being performed, the number indicates the number of users who have sent update requests.
  • If the update is complete, the number indicates the number of users for who the update operation was last performed.
  • The number is cleared until the update operation is performed next time.
Receive update ack

Number of users for who the service board has acknowledged the update operation.

  • If the update operation is being performed, the number indicates the number of users who have sent update requests.
  • If the update is complete, the number indicates the number of users for who the update operation was last performed.
  • The number is cleared until the update operation is performed next time.
Update fail user information

Information about the users with update failures, including user IDs, user names, MAC addresses, and update failure reasons. The number of users is not cleared. The information about failed or successful updates is displayed.

Update fail reason

Update failure reason:

  • Unknown reason.Please update again.

    The update is excessively quick, which causes update messages to expire.

  • Rate limit error.Please adjust it.

    The rate-limit parameter value configured in the updated service policy template is excessively large, which causes SQ resources to fail to be applied for.

UserID

User CIB.

Username

User name. If the length of a user name exceeds 22 characters, the user name is displayed with the first 19 characters followed by ellipsis.

MAC

MAC address of the user.

Total fail number

Number of users with update failures. You can press Ctrl+C to stop displaying the number of users. When the stop operation is performed, the number of users with update failures is still displayed.
