Function

The display vendor-class dhcpv6 command displays information about the vendor-class dhcpv6 configuration in the system view.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

When the terminal does not carry the vendor-class information using DHCPv6 Option16, you can run the vendor-class dhcpv6 command to configure the mapping between vendor-class and DHCPv6 option.

After the configuration is complete, you can run the display vendor-class dhcpv6 command to check the configuration.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

Vendor-class DHCPv6

Whether a mapping between the vendor-class attribute and a DHCPv6 option code as well as the offset value are configured.

  • enable: The mapping between the vendor-class attribute and a DHCPv6 option code as well as the offset value are configured.
  • disable: The mapping between the vendor-class attribute and a DHCPv6 option code as well as the offset value are not configured.
DHCPv6 option code

DHCP Option code that corresponds to the vendor-class attribute. The default value is 16.

DHCPv6 offset

Offset value for the DHCPv6 option code of the vendor-class attribute. The default offset value is 0.
