display mpls te last-error

Function

The display mpls te last-error command displays errors that occur on the Tunnel-Manager recently.

The display mpls te tunnel-interface last-error command displays last errors occurring on a tunnel interface of the local node.

Format

display mpls te tunnel-interface last-error [ interface-type interface-number | tunnel-name | auto-primary-tunnel ip-prefix-tunnel-name ]

display mpls te last-error

Parameters

Parameter Description Value

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The display mpls te last-error command displays errors occurring on the Tunnel-Manager of the local node. The errors include the following:

  • Component control errors
  • Configuration restoration errors
  • Verification and smoothing errors
  • System errors

To view errors on the local node or an error carried in an RSVP PathErr message sent by a downstream node, run the display mpls te tunnel-interface last-error command run on the ingress. The errors are as follows:
  • CSPF computation failures
  • Errors in the RSVP GR process
  • Errors in triggering RSVP signaling
  • Errors that are carried in the received RSVP PathErr messages
  • The display mpls te tunnel-interface last-error command displays the last five recorded errors of every TE tunnel and tunnel type, such as primary, modified, or backup CR-LSP.

If an RSVP PathErr message sent by a downstream node carries error information, the ErroInfo field in the command displays the IP address of the defective downstream node and the cause of the error. If an error occurs on the ingress, the command displays only the cause of the error.

Example

The actual command output varies according to the device. The command output here is only an example.

Table 1 Description of the display mpls te last-error command output
Item Description
Tunnel Name

Name of an MPLS TE tunnel.

Error No

Number of an error.

Error Code

Error code, which is a hexadecimal integer and uniquely identifies a type of error.

1: CSPF path calculation error.

2: Path Err error.

3: Resv Tear error.

4: The tunnel interface is shut down.

11: LSP DOWN.

12: Common failure error code.

14: An internal error occurs. For example, the locked LSP fails to be cleared.

17: PCEP error. For example, the PCE label stack fails to be delivered.

18:BFD DOWN.

19: CRC error.

Error Info

Error description:

  • Error Node: information about the downstream error node.
  • Error LsrId: ID of the downstream LSR that encounters an error.
  • Resv Tear: The reserved labels, bandwidth, and forwarding entries are deleted.
  • Error Node: IP node that encounters an error.
  • Error LsrId: ID of the LSR that encounters an error.
  • RSVP ErrCode: RSVP error code.
  • RSVP system error: RSVP system error.
  • RSVP ErrValue: error value corresponding to the RSVP error code.
  • DownReason: The tunnel interface is Down.
  • XXX is excluded: A node or link is excluded.
  • No disjoint path available for disjoint algorithm: No path is available when disjoint algorithm is used.
  • Explicit path deleted: The explicit path of the LSP is deleted.
LSP Type

LSP type:

  • Primary LSP.
  • Hot-Standby LSP.
  • Ordinary LSP.
  • BestEffort LSP.
  • Primary modify LSP.
  • Hot-Standby modify LSP.
  • Ordinary modify LSP.
  • BestEffort modify LSP.
LSP ID

LSP ID, which is displayed in the format of Ingress LSR ID:Tunnel-ID:Local LSP ID.
