Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To set a DMR IPv6 prefix on a BR, run the dmr-prefix command in the MAP-T instance view. The prefix is used to verify and encapsulate MAP packets.

Precautions

  • A single IPv6 prefix can be set for each DMR.
  • The IPv6 prefix address is mutually exclusive with an interface IP address, an address in A BRAS address pool.

Example

# Create a MAP-T instance named AAA in the system view, access the MAP-T instance view, and set a DMR IPv6 prefix named test.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] map-t instance xxx id 111
[*HUAWEI-map-rule-xxx] dmr-prefix test
