dot1x max-user

Function

The dot1x max-user command configures the maximum number of access users allowed on an 802.1X authentication-enabled interface.

The undo dot1x max-user command restores the default configuration.

By default, a maximum of 64 users are allowed to access an 802.1X authentication-enabled interface.

undo dot1x max-user

Parameters

Usage Scenario

To configure the maximum number of access users allowed on an 801.X authentication-enabled interface, run the dot1x max-user command.

Prerequisites

802.1X authentication has been enabled on the interface using the dot1x enable command.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
