Function

The mpls command enables MPLS on the local node and displays the MPLS view.

The undo mpls command deletes the MPLS configurations.

By default, MPLS is not enabled on a node.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

You need to run the mpls command on a network where MPLS services need to be deployed.

You can run other commands associated with MPLS only after running the mpls command.

Configuration Impact

After the mpls command is run, MPLS is enabled globally and the MPLS view is displayed.

Follow-up Procedure

You can perform other configurations of MPLS.

Precautions

The undo mpls command in the system view deletes MPLS settings, except for MPLS LSR IDs, which are configured in the system and interface views.

# Enable MPLS on a device and enter the MPLS view.

# After the secondary confirmation function is enabled, the system prompts a user for secondary confirmation when the undo mpls command is run to prevent misoperation:
