Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

In a scenario where E-Line services smoothly evolve from MPLS to SRv6, a device has two routes with the same prefix but different next hops. The next hop address of one route is an IPv4 address, and the next hop address of the other route is an IPv6 address. To enable a device to import learned IPv4 and IPv6 routes to a VPN instance simultaneously and preferentially select the route with the specified next hop address, run the import-route ipv6 next-hop command.

Example

# Configure an EVPN instance to prefer an IPv4 next hop route when selecting the optimal route.
