esi dynamic-name

Function

The esi dynamic-name command configures a dynamic ESI instance with a specific name.

The undo esi dynamic-name command deletes a dynamic ESI instance.

By default, no dynamic ESI instance is created.

Format

esi dynamic-name esi-name

undo esi dynamic-name esi-name

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
esi-name

Specifies the name of a dynamic ESI instance.

The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters starting with a letter, spaces not supported.

Usage Guidelines

After a dynamic ESI instance is created, you need to run the esi dynamic command to bind the dynamic ESI instance to an Eth-Trunk interface on the access side.
