Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

In DCI scenarios, only ES-AD/ES routes carrying VXLAN encapsulation attributes are locally generated by default.

After this command is run in a BD, the device generates VXLAN- and MPLS-encapsulated ES-AD/ES routes, and EVC interfaces added to the BD support split horizon.

Prerequisites

A VNI has been created and associated with a BD using the vxlan vni split-horizon-mode command, and an EVPN instance in BD mode has been bound to the VNI.

Example

# Enable the AC access function.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] evpn vpn-instance evpn2 bd-mode
[*HUAWEI-evpn-instance-evpn2] route-distinguisher 1:2
[*HUAWEI-evpn-instance-evpn2] vpn-target 1:2
