Parameter | Description | Value |
---|---|---|
vpn-instance-name |
Specifies the name of an EVPN instance to be bound to an EVPL instance. |
The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported. When double quotation marks are used around the string, spaces are allowed in the string. |
Usage Scenario
In VPWS EVPN scenarios, the user-side AC interface maps to an EVPL instance. The EVPL instance on a PE is bound to an EVPN instance and the EVPL instance is then bound to the user-side AC interface and network-side MPLS/SR tunnel interface to allow communication between the user-side AC interface and network-side MPLS/SR tunnel interface.
Precautions
When an EVPN instance is bound to an EVPL instance in the EVPL view, the same service ID cannot be configured for other EVPL instances bound to the EVPN instance. This configuration prevents service exceptions caused by the same service ID configured for multiple EVPL instances bound to the same EVPN instance.
